A new friend

A month ago, can’t believe it’s been that long!, I had the opportunity to travel up to Baumholder to photograph an OpLove homecoming. This was mostly a “normal” homecoming. What made it different from all of my other homecomings is this one was for a local celebrity. Yes, I said it lol. She has a kick ass blog that tells her tales of being a military wife. You should stop by and check it out. ;) Since photographing her homecoming we’ve kept in touch. Hell, Facebook makes keeping in touch with just about anyone extremely easy. lol Anyways, it’s been a bit since her homecoming and I need to get her images blog. You can head over to the KKP Blog to see more but these are my favorites. :)

Did I seriously just post an out of focus image? Yes, I did. I chose to keep this image because it captured the moment. I didn’t need it to be technically correct. Usually to keep kids calm and interested in taking pictures, I’ll let them come take a few frames. I was doing this with their son with he captured this image. Mom and dad were having a hay day making funny faces at us. lol

  • Household 6 Diva | Kim Kravitz Photography | Heidelberg, Germany Boudoir, Wedding, Senior, and Couple Photographer - […] I feel incredibly honored that Ms. Household 6 Diva herself asked me to photograph her OpLove homecoming. It’s always an honor when another photographer “hires” you. About a month ago I traveled to Baumholder to capture their homecoming and made a friend too. :) During her husband’s deployment she held down the house with three kiddos, blogged on a regular basis (yeah I suck at this one lol), and volunteered and made a difference in her community. Since her husband’s homecoming, Ann Marie and I have kept in touch. I find her to be such an inspiration and full of positive energy. I hope we have the opportunity to get together again before she and her family PCS’s. OH! And if you’d like to see more images from their homecoming, head on over to the iamkimkravitz Blog.
